What is Print-On-Demand?

Print-On-Demand or POD is a book printers ability to allow books to be printed one a time or in smaller quantities at a fixed cost per copy.

It is wise to do research according to your budget whether this option works better for you or to print in larger quantities

How many books should I decide to print?

This is something you should really take out time to consider because you have to be confident about how many books you feel you can actually sell in whatever time span you have given yourself.

Determine a printing budget and quotes from different printers on different amounts, 50, 100, 250 or more. Remember, that with most printers, the larger the quantity requested, the lower the per unit cost will be. And you may even consider doing Print-On-Demand.

How long will it take for my book to be published?

2. Why should I self-publish?

The only person you’ve already proven your worth to is yourself and that’s the most important person of all.

Self publishing also gives you total control of your work and proof of your work is seen in a much shorter time span than in using a larger, more renowned publishing house.

Additionally, first-time authors may have a harder time being accepted by a traditional publishing house because of the unpredictable sales of an unknown name and book.
